EM Normandie has received the international AMBA accreditation for its Master’s in Management, for the maximum duration of 5 years. The School has already held AACSB* and EQUIS* accreditations since 2014 and 2016 respectively, and now, with this new quality label, EM Normandie has entered the prestigious world of triple accredited business schools. In fact, less than 1% of business schools globally have triple crown accreditation. In France, out of some 400 business schools listed, only 18 Grandes Écoles have it. An undeniable asset for students and graduates of EM Normandie.

AMBA, guarantee of academic and professional excellence

The British organisation AMBA (Association of MBAs) assesses courses based on specific criteria that guarantee their academic excellence and strong links with the business world (governance, teaching quality, development of professional skills, employability). It provides accreditation for MBAs (Master of Business Administration), Doctorates in Business Administration (DBA) and Masters in Business and Management (MBM). With the award of AMBA for its Master’s in Management (MBM), EM Normandie has become the 26th business school in France to be given this distinctive recognition.

The EM Normandie Master's in Management is in the Top 3 of post-baccalaureate schools in several national rankings and is also in the Financial Times and QS Top 100 best Masters in Management worldwide. Its main strengths are:

  • Up to 5 years’ study abroad, on the campuses of the Business School or at a partner University (over 200 choices);
  • Immersive and gamified EdTech course content;
  • Unique pathways and projects to make you stand out: digital, entrepreneurial, sustainable;
  • 20 M2 year specialisms, 10 of which can be taken as part of the PGE/MSc® double degree;
  • A leader in work-study programmes with more than 2,000 students enrolled in the stream;
  • Fast entry into employment for graduates: 96% of graduates in employment secured their first job within 3 months and 50% have a job with an international dimension (2022 survey of PGE 2021 graduates).

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the Association of MBAs and the Business Graduates Association (BGA) said: “I am delighted that EM Normandie has received accreditation for its Master’s in Management (Programme Grande Ecole). This school is recognised worldwide for its quality and is constantly investing in its development. I look forward to working with EM Normandie.”

EM Normandie’s triple crown accreditation

This triple accreditation attests to EM Normandie’s excellence based on strict international standards and consolidates its position among the global elite of Business Schools. It has a big impact on the school’s reputation and reinforces the quality of the diplomas awarded, allowing it to attract the best lecturer-researchers and develop new links with prestigious international universities and companies for its students.

The AMBA accreditation should also earn EM Normandie points in rankings, as most league tables take into account the 3 big accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.

We are very happy and proud to have been awarded this new international accreditation, which highlights the school's academic excellence, the quality of research, its close links with the business world and its strong international perspective. I would like to thank and congratulate the teaching staff, our Alumni network, the Foundation and all the stakeholders of EM Normandie for their involvement in this achievement which takes us closer to our goal of becoming the top world-class French post-baccalaureate higher education and research institution by 2030” adds Elian Pilvin (class of 1996), Dean and Managing Director of EM Normandie Group.
