Benjamin DECHENAUD: The serial entrepreneur who wants to help entrepreneurs ... and accountants

Benjamin, who graduated with a master's degree in entrepreneurship in 2009, has since gone on to create a string of businesses (renewable energies, e-commerce, automotive software) and more recently takeovers or investments in industrial companies and digital startups.

Today, he is launching a new initiative that aims to change the lives of entrepreneurs: virtual financial assistants (powered by artificial intelligence) to help SME managers who can't afford to recruit a financial team.

"In the companies I've been supporting over the past 15 years, I've often come across the same observation: after 10 employees, running a business becomes more complex, and you need specialized teams (collections, reporting, management control, cash management...) And SME managers are often businessmen before they are managers. "

Benjamin therefore created Kipeez with complementary partners: a financial expert, an artificial intelligence specialist, but also with profiles focused on popularizing the financial function: an entrepreneur, a product manager and a user experience expert. The aim is to enable SMEs to exploit the full potential of artificial intelligence, but in a tangible way that can be activated on a daily basis: a customer meeting, all the information is available (sales vs. n-1, outstanding payments, products...), why the margin fell last month, how the payroll has evolved...

"But above all, it will enable chartered accountants to deploy a tool at their customers' sites to develop their expertise and proximity, by analyzing all their customers' data on a daily basis to anticipate difficulties and take the right decisions without waiting until their backs are against the wall. Chartered accountants are going through a transition, with a loss of income that should lead them to position themselves more on the consulting side".
