Janna GIRAUD (Class of 2022) and Audréa MACQUAIRE (Class of 2021) are committed to textile recycling with the launch of Noues Paris. This brand (whose name in French is a play on words implying both “We Are Paris” and “Paris Knots”) creates upcycled silk headbands. Using vintage pieces found in charity shops, Audréa's grandmother, who is a former seamstress, transforms haute couture silk scarves into headbands. 100% made in France and 100% silk, they reuse and transform quality fabrics to give them a second life. Their goal is to create a community where every woman feels beautiful and proud to be unique, just like the headbands. This accessory can be twisted, tied or knotted over and over again to embellish your hair, face or outfit. The headband can be worn in the hair, around the neck or wrist, or even tied on a bag.

After 5 years of studies at EM Normandie, they decided to create a brand that reflects their values, taking a stand against overproduction in the clothing industry. Noues Paris is therefore offering quality headbands at a reasonable price. Noues Paris is also a community that promotes #BeYourOwnMuse, where women are proud of their individuality.

Available online since 18 May, Noues Paris’ first capsule collection comprises a range of colourful headbands to add an individual touch to each and every outfit.

This is the beginning of a great adventure, support them by following them on Instagram and visiting the website
